She is absolutely adorable!!!! I love the little outfit. I will pray she recovers quickly and comes home. |
I was hoping for better news this morning :( I'm glad she is back at the vets, she really should be observed. An xray is only going to pick up a skull fracture. She would need a CT or MRI to pick up evidence of any bleeding inside her brain. Hopefully, this is just a mild concussion. Unfortunately, a head injury can cause vomiting and lack of appetite which in turn causes hypoglycemia and dehydration which can make neurological symptoms even more pronounced and make it hard to tell the severity of the head injury it's self. Please keep us up to date on how she's doing. |
She is a cutie!, I'm praying for her fast recovery. |
I sure hope she is doing better! Keep us updated, we are all concerned. |
How terribly frightening! Please keep us updated. I'm praying for your baby......... |
Praying for your sweet little "baby". The symptoms sounded like a concussion to me also and was very surprised the vet did not keep her overnight when this first happened. Good thing she is staying overnight for observation and treatment. Please keep us all updated. Your little "baby" looks so cute in her little dress and headband. |
What a little cutie she is! I sure hope that she's doing better by now. Please update soon! Sending prayers to your little one. |
I'm so sorry this happened to your sweet little girl. Praying she will recover soon. |
Been there before... These little furkids don't care if its very high, they do jump. You'll see your baby getting better in a blink of an eye and shell be running around your house in no time. |
Is there any news today on your baby? |
I'm hoping your little one is doing better today... Praying for that sweet little baby of yours.. Please update us as soon as you can.. ~~~~~~~~~~HUGS~~~~~~~~ |
I was checking on her, too. Hope she's ok. |
Ditto. I'll be gone today but hoping when I get back there is good news at your home! |
Getting worse doesn't sound good at all - I hope the vets are keeping a very close eye on her - I'd be worried sick that's for sure - but at least she's in good hands vs being home...... good luck ! I hope she'll be ok. Just knowing she is this weak and not better tells me the vet was your only option - as with all falls especially when they get knocked out. I'm surprised they didn't keep her that first visit :( there could be something else going on with her to be this bad off this long after it happened again - all the best ! you may want to think about stairs and ramps for anything high they can jump on |
Praying for you and your beautiful little girl, that she will be home soon with her mommy. I know it is very difficult to be apart from her. |
Sending prayers that she has a speedy recovery... |

No updates on our baby???? This is honestly one of the cutest yorkies I have ever seen. I sent this one to my daughter in Japan and she just swooned. Owner come back and let us know what is going on. |
OMG! I hope she's doing a lot better. Bambino jumped out of my bag when he was three months and hit the concrete. Thank God all he got was a good scare and me as well. He is now four years old and a happy healthy boy. He's 3.5 lbs so I know how delicate they are growing up. You did the right thing by taking her to the vet. Let us know how she's doing! Licks from Bambino and Lulu! |
Waiting to hear news on your little baby???? still sending hugs and prayers. Please let us all know how she is.. |
Hi Everyone, You have an amazing forum here with great members. Thanks again for all the advice and well wishes for koko. Thank god everything is now behind us, she is back to playing, running and biting. It wasn't an easy or a welcome experience. I will try and come back often with updates and photos. In addition, i think it is only fair i will explain what's going on and why the slow reply. My name is Michael, I am Alesa's boyfriend (More koko's boyfriend since we have her really :) ), at the circumstances i posted prior, i didn't feel that detail was important for that time. Excuse the slow reply, Alesa speaks no English which is why i wrote for her and am writing now. I had to leave the country on a business trip on the 29th, when we didn't yet know koko is ok which is the reason for the slow reply. Best regards, Michael. |
:cheer: YAY!!!! So glad to hear she is back to herself...I was praying for the little sweetie. Can't wait for photo updates :) |
Oh thank goodness Michael. I was worried the news was not good and that is why the slow response. YAY. Koko is ok. How wonderful! |
We both feel extremly lucky, i can't wait to go back home to koko :D |
