I wish there was something I could say to make it better, but there are no words.... this is just plain sad and it sucks.

Carlo was a little bit down today, but still wanted to go for his walk. They did say he may not be feeling his best on days 2-5. He ate a good breakfast, taking his meds, and drinking a lot of water. We did go for a walk, and he was fine. I am not going to push him tomorrow as it is supposed to get into the high 80's. May just sit outside with him, and let him watch animal planet reruns. Over all, he is doing great. Even Maxine is being nice to him. She has not attacked him since his surgery. She must know!

awwww poor Carlo...I am sad that he is out of kilter. I do hope he is better tomorrow.
I love it....he watches tv!! I had a pup who did that...I used to put movies on for her when I went out. Benji was a favorite!

Maxine is being a good sister!

I swear they do know when others do not feel well. When I have a sick one, the others seem to go out of their way to sniff them and check on them.
Continued prayers for Carlo...hope it was just a one day thing.

I think Carlo needs to watch Animal Planet too.

I'm glad that Maxine is behaving herself and treating Carlo sweet. Maybe they can lay together and both watch a little AP

The big guy is doing real well. Eating, playing, acting like his old self the past few days. All you have to do is make sure he goes out every hour with all the water the Prednisone causes him to drink. He tolerated the VinBlastin real well. He goes in tomorrow morning for another Blood Test, and then the Chemo shot. At his age, I know we are on borrowed time, but I hope to have him around for at least another year, or longer.

I know you will enjoy whatever time you have with your buddy. He is so fortunate to have such a loving family.

Not borrowed time...hey, at his age I'd call it bigtime bonus time. I'm so happy he's feeling good and enjoying life.

We just got home from his 2nd Chemo treatment and blood work! The blood looks real good, He lost 2 pounds since last week, most likely due to the heavy dose of Prednisone as it causes one to lose muscle. The Vet cut the does from 4 Prednisone a day, to 2 a day. He is still drinking gallons of water. Still is active, and doing well. In a few weeks, they will do another Ulreasound to make sure no new growrh. We go back again next Thursday for another round.

Keeping Big C in my thoughts during this difficult time. Just relax, watch AP, maybe some other movies like Hotel for dogs, 8 Below or Balto!

It is good that the two of you have each other and the other 2 ladies in your life, enjoy your time and keep us informed.
