Dipping in betidine soulution is also good for killing ring worm.
I am wondering if maybe he might be the results of a blue to blue yorkie breeding. they loose all of their hair but the brown hair. Ring worm is in all of us. it take our immune system to be low for it to break out or for us to be stressed enough for it to be low.

Although Chance is in good spirits and loving his walks he was shaking really bad yesterday afternoon like he had a fever. He had chunks of fungus on the inside of one ear so I decided to take him the vet last night. (They are open late and allow walk-ins).
Well it turns out Chance had a double ear infection,:( even after 3 weeks on the anti-fungal medication and having his ears flushed last week, the fungus just keeps coming up......Can you imagine how much fungus this poor baby has inside his body that it keeps coming up inside his ears...He has suffered so much...well not anymore.
I was given 2 types of liquid ear meds to give him every day in his ears..
His first skin culture test next thurs.:thumbup:

I understand she is with her at this time and I`m sure she will be back with an update on Chance as soon as her sister is on the road to recovery.

Thank you for giving YT an update on why I was MIA! On Sun 6/13 my sis Cheryl did have a tragic accident and by the grace of God she is still here with us, it was touch and go for awhile but she is recovering one day at a time.
I had to wait until Mon morning to make my flight out (4hrs later) until the shelter where I rescued Chance was open to see if they would let him stay in quaranten because he was still contagious and I had to JAMM FAST!

WHEW WEE what a 3 ring circus I was so hysterical over my sis:eyetearss that I didn't even know what I had packed I was just running around like a chicken with my head cut-off -I stayed over a week in Oregon.
The Shelter stepped up and said YES bring him, my husband did-I cried my Chancie baby:cry:.....leaving them there again but what was I going to do?
When I got back from my sis the shelter was blown away at how great he looked and how happy he was. Boy was he happy to see me he leaped into my arms that little sweetie.
Now here is the really great news Chance has had his 3 tests for ringworm and he has been negative all 3 times. That is what I needed to put him around the other dogs.:clapsmileHe is done now! no more stinkie lime baths, no more medicine and one VERY HAPPY LITTLE DOGGIE.
He is my baby and my shadow he follows me everywhere, cuddles with me and now all 5 dogs go for a walk together every night. He adores me and I adore him! I am so grateful he is well and happy.

When we cuddle my husband looks over at us and says "Honey, look at him, you saved this little boy...look how content he is with you!" And he is right and yes I did save this little one and would do it over in a heartbeat!

He is growing little fuzzies and his fur is coming in...I will get a picture out when I get back from seeing my sis (leaving again) yes I am going back again to help her.

Thank you for all your prayers and concern for Chance and my sister and keep them both in yours prayers as I will you.....

I looked at the pictures of poor Chance and started bawling. That poor little baby... ;(

thats horrible!! and i was devastated when i found out Baci had it when i brought him home.. it will be a rough road ahead, but in the end it will be well worth it. Not sure if he is gaining weight but make sure any med dosage goes up if his weight goes up. Baci had ringworm when he was a pup and it was taking forever to get rid of but he was growing at the same time. So as he got bigger they had to increase the dosage and it finally started going away.

Very happy to hear that your sister and Chance are on the road to recovery. Sending positive thoughts your way for better days ahead.

omgosh that is the worst picture i've ever seen. this is awful how could anyone treat a little baby like him that way?? i don't get it.

Yes I do have an update on Chance aka Chancie he is doing just great what a little love/cuddle bug. I just got back from my sisters last week and she is healing very well and doing great. We have both decided that Chance will be adopted by my sister. She really wanted a sweet little yorkie and has fallen in love with Chance.
It is a God thing..... they are both such survivers. We are going through all the process with applications with ytnr and such and she will come down from Oregon and get him! This is the best home I could ever have imagined for him ( unless of course he stayed here)! So all is good.
My other rescue Rocco was offically adopted yesterday. His new owners will be picking him up on 8/21 they had a prior trip planned. It's all good.
