Nope we went much further south than the Bahamas. We started in Puerto Rico and went to Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Martin and St. Croix. There are no bahama mamas down there - only rum punch!! BTW you should try cruising - we love it! It's a great value and you get to see a different island every day.

My cousin use to work for Crystal Cruise line and almost went with her on the european cruise but her hubby wanted to go at last minute so i was out - MEN lol It is definitely on the Bucket list to do a cruise | |

I prefer staying on one island. Too much hopping around for me. That way you can get familiar with one...or maybe do a couple. I dunno. But, yes, cruises rock! I should have gone on this one...really did not know about it until it was too late. next time for sure!

| Dang Cathy, you had us all in an uproar over the corrective surgery! Whatever you're drinking, I want some! Hope that everything goes well with the consult and surgery.

| Which leg is it?? Ok, so to complicate matters.... It WAS the left leg (the one that was fixed in '02) that was hurting my Daisy. But.............. The xray shows her RIGHT leg as being luxated out of place! The RIGHT leg xray is what is warranting the ortho consult.....but what about the left leg, the leg that is hurting her? So I asked my vet, she was starting to question right vs. left and say oh heck come back in. We're going tomorrow and we'll figure this out. Daisy is feeling good on her pain meds pending whatever we're doing next.

| Yep The xray read is FOOL PROOF !! It says "R" on it!!! So I know the RIGHT leg is the one with the bum knee. The LEFT leg is also on the xray and it looks lovely - the knee cap is still in place after 8 years. My doc was right - his knees don't fall apart!! Could it be that the ER vet was right all along?? Soft tissue injury?? All I know is that I suspect that my vet no longer believes me on which leg is bothering Daisy. I sent a video to her and she just said we'd look tomorrow and that a radiologist viewed the xray now too. So, my girl is commanding a LOT of attention. While we are there, we get to return the case of S/D food that Teddy threw up for his stones and get him the Uro-eze. We also can pick up Daisy's L/D food. While I am there, I might as well make an appointment for Barney since his bile acids were slightly elevated. OMG I need to go back on my cruise. Life was much simpler at 4 PM in the Schooner talking about our cruise director, our waiter, and Mr. Redcoat (another cruise personnel) over Mango lava flows and guavaritas.

I have had kind of a rough day and just seeing this now. Actually, I think that they marked the xray with R not to designate that it was the right leg as a problem; but to show which is the right side when viewing the xray. I could be wrong, but that is my guess.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | you put the marker next to the right or left side of the dog. so if your looking at a VD or DV x-ray like this Dog pelvis image by dogdoc on Photobucket te right marker is on the right side of the dog. So its next to the right knee
