so happy to hear this, I have been wondering about your little guy! |
So happy to hear good news :) |
Hoping he continues to make improvements. Praying for him! |
Prayers for your precious baby that he recover quickly and fully. Hugs to you. I'm so sorry you are going through this and hope that tomorrow he will be greatly improved! Best wishes to you, your daughter and family...and little Cubby! |
CUBBY IS HOME!!!!!!:) He is walking with "sea" legs and his coordination seems off. When someone leaves the room he starts to shake but it's possible he thinks we might leave like we did when we visited in the hospital. He has regained his vision (YIPPY) and ate a ton when he got home. He hasn't barked as of yet and he hasn't slept but maybe 10 mins at a time. But HE IS HOME :):):):):):):) and my daughter han't left his side. Thanks for all the prayers...they surely have been answered! |
oh happy to hear good news... I'll send my prays your way for a speedy recovery... |
Oh, what wonderful news!!! :) |
Great news! Does your vet expect him to make a full recovery? |
what terrific news!!!! Way to go cubby! Keep getting stronger each day!!! |
So glad to hear that I just joined this site today. Your problem caught my eye because 2 weeks before this past Christmas our little yorkie Bailey also got a concussion. My husband rushed her to the vet (I was not home) I guess she started vomitting as soon as the accident occured and her eyes was shaking and she was very lethargic for 4 days. She was able to walk she had a very huge lump on her head (hematoma) the vet put her on anti biotics to avoid infection in the hematoma since it was so close to the brain. She recovered pretty quickly had a lump on her head for almost 2 months though. She was about 12-13 weeks old when this happened to her. Honestly my husband and children did not see what happened to her . She was in the living room playing with my son and they said she ran into the kitchen and in just a few seconds she yiped very bad and they ran in and found her with a huge lump and as i said she began vomitting right away. I hope your yorkie regains all his physical strengths how old is he or she? I think maybe my dog recovered so quick because of her age. Or maybe it was just not that bad I know the lump on her head was something she looked like a buffalo. I am happy your dog got to come home they are the sweetest things:) Bailey is our first yorkie. I will never have any other of a dog she is awesome and everyone in our small town knows her and loves her:) She is the local celebrity:) God Bless you and your family and that sweet little dog of yours:) |
I am so happy that your baby is home and is improving!! YAY!!!:) |

Hi just wanted to post an update on Cubby. He is about 90% back to good health. He is just a tiny bit unsure of his footing, but walking normal most of the time. He is definitely a bit different. It is like his puppyhood has been knocked out of him. He is more calm, has yet to bark,he chases a ball but only trotts to get it and has no interest in most of his toys (he used to play vigerously with each toy all day long-exhausting) He also seems a little frightened of his whereabouts- like he might not recognize where he is. But I can accept all of this because he is back home and we have him to cuddle and spoil! It has been VERY scarey and I am grateful for everybody's thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. My daughter and Cubby say thanks too-I read minds since he cant bark:) |
thank you so much:) we feel like we are blessed to have her:) |
