Just seeing this now. Thank God you got him to a vet so quickly! Sounds like he is getting excellent care. I hope he will make a complete recovery.

improvement is always a good sign and head injuries can take some time to get the swelling down so hang in there and we will keep praying for your baby- I am really glad a neurologist is involved as well that is GREAT

I hope that tomorrow morning brings even more improvement. This little guy is so lucky to have such a wonderful family that rushed him in for the immediate care he needed. :)

YAY thanks for the update! So glad you rushed him to the Vet. It really is scary being a pet owner...so many things can go down hill in an instance!

That's wonderful there has been improvement. Dosen't matter how small
as long as it's there. Hopefully once the swelling in his head goes down
his movement will come back.:hands:
What a terrible experience to go threw. Poor little guy. Sounds like
he's in the perfect hands to get him better.

Finally heard from the doctor. They think Cubby is blind right now in his right eye, but the good news is that he is standing with assistance and is walking with a wobble. He won't come home yet but hopefully tomorrow. We are going to visit him this evening. I CAN'T WAIT! Thanks again for all the well wishes :)

I WENT TO SEE MY BABY TONIGHT!:):):):) He got real excited when he was bought into the room to see us. He started kissing anyone who was holding him. He still cant stand and his front foot curls under but he seemed much more alert. We stayed for about half an hour and by the time we left he was looking really tired. The vet said he is a fighter. (I think it is all the wonderful prayers he is getting!) I hope he continues to amaze us. Hopefully he improves enough to come home tomorrow! Thanks again for your concern!

Just saw the post. You must have been terrified! Hang in there, it's amazing the healing powers these little guys have and all the positive energy that is being sent to him and your family will surely help. Looking forward to another positive update.

Great news.... what a scary tragedy though. I am so grateful that my boys have been so healthy and lucky! My thoughts and prayers are added to the others for Cubbys recovery.
