What should I do?? I have a (10 week old puppy) and I have noticed recently h e has been sneezing alot. When he sneezes there is stuff that comes out of his nose because when it does it goes on my arm when Im holding him so I feel it but I dont see it. There is nothing running from his nose. The pollen is pretty bad here...its even bothering me so I dont know if that what it is for him. He is prefectly fine, he eats normal and plays like he always does so I dont think he is SICK SICK...I just think its just a little cold. I dont know? I wanted to get advice to see what you all think I should do?? |
I would take him to the vet, to be on the safe side. He is only 10 weeks old, you don't want to take any chances!! |
I agree about taking the puppy to the vet! It's better to be on the safe side |
Your little pup should be seen by a veternarian. There is absolutely no way that we can diagnosis a health issue "on line". He is way too young to be "self treating". |
You should take him to the vet. :) Even if it is pollen, they may be able to give him something for relief. |
at that age it is probably kennel cough as it can be coughing or sneezing so go to vet as allergies do not really start until the age of 6 months to 3 years even though this allergy season will be the worst ever per dermatologist due to all the rains I would still say more related to a kennel cough starting so best to be safe and go to vet |
Has he seen a vet since you picked him up? I can't remember. You should take him to a vet even though he is eating and being playful. You got him at a very young age and some things may just be surfacing that weren't before. |
Please get him to the vet. Better safe than sorry, right? Guessing what the problem might be is not the answer. Finger's crossed it's not kennal cough, hence the vet visit. |
Vet visit is in order... Better safe than sorry |
Small puppies get upper respiratory infections easily. Both our yorkies got them within days of coming home. Please see your vet ASAP! They are too tiny to let things go. |
I brought him for a check up when I first got him then we were just there in Thursday and she said he looked healthy...but now he's always clearing his nose. I called the vet and said wait 24hrs to see if it gets better |

May have gotten chilled riding in his stroller while you're jogging. A pup that young shouldn't be exposed to the outdoors for any length of time. Best to wait till after Rabies vaccine... 16-20 weeks old. His immune system will be stronger then. Be very careful, cold-like symptoms can rapidly turn into pneumonia in a young (or old) pup, especially one with compromised immune system (having left Mom early). Probably healthiest thing to do would be keep him indoors till pollen season passes... |
