No No Yes 8 :) Vivian, what did the vet say? |
The vet was not too worried about it said she would have never noticed unless I pointed it out. She gave Snick an anti-histamine to relieve anything that could be enviromental and that calmed my nerves. I also figured out that after I feed Snick his raw, I wipe his beard down with a warm babywipe, but I never would wipe the top of his nose. I sprinkle 2 supplements on his raw and never thought that the particles could be collecting on his nose at the top while he eats. So I started wiping his whole nose down as well and I already saw this morning that he did not mess with his nose/scratch it. We'll see if now if things improve for the long run. I hope I solved the problem. Thanks for all the help gals... Snick & Viv |
We have the beginnings of peach fuzz!!! :) I'm just so happy today. :) :) :) |

Did this work? This sounds like my Molly; she is 10 months old, and this happened to her. She's had the scrapings; they were negative. We've taken away her plastic like and rubber toys. She eats from glass bowls. The vet gave her a Vet formula food by Purina which has fish. I see no improvement after two months. Thank you :( |

Ellie's hair continued to grow and it started to look almost normal. I just checked it again and it may be happening all over. There looks to be a bald spot. So I don't know. It has been scraped, cultured, and biopsied and we have no answer. |
balding nose Sorry, I'm new here, and that was my first post; I hope I do a better job this time... :) I am wondering if wiping the nose after eating helps (from viviansnickers post). I am so sorry yours is starting back! Molly has a little fuzz, but hers is red on the sides, and the bottom lip has little bumps. It looks chapped, and she acts like it hurts her after drinking water too, so I try to dry her hair. She literally seems to scrape her hair off with her front feet! :( |
