i don't know what to do, I live in Puerto Rico and I called two different vet and they said the same thing. She is walking now but she look afraid of something. We have another old female dog and when she came to the room she run after her.

Also, when I call one of the Animal Hospital and ask to see her they said to wait until tomorrow, that she is running with fever and tomorrow she will be better. Is it the vet here are not inform?? I going to call the other vet right now.

is she throwing up? eating? drinking? and how much does she weigh? Also how much did you give her?

I would call the vet bc sometimes they get a reaction to their shots and sometimes a dog that size can only handle one shot at a time.

She is not throwing up, she is drinking, no eating yet. Gave her less than half of teaspoon since she weight 1lb.

Called another animal hospital and they told me to observe her overnight and if she is acting the same, to take her. I have to wait now, I called all the vet here in my area and all said the same. I just hope everything turn out ok. I will keep my eyes on her all night, she is sleeping in my lap right now.

Did you give her BOTH Tylenol Cold AND Tylenol?? That is how your initial post reads.....I just want to be sure

I know it's only been 10 minutes since I posted about the possible double dose......but I'm bumping anyway! I'm worried sick this 1# baby was overdosed

My understanding was also that two Tylenols (of different types) were given. And I missed the one pound part! Honestly, I would not be surprised if this pup goes into liver failure. The only way to stop this for sure is to get emergency care.

To the original poster, yes, it is different here. Some vets may say to give Tylenol, but others are available to correct the mistake. I don't want to tell you to induce vomiting (I think it's okay with Tylenol???) because continuous vomitingcould send her into dehydration and there is no vet that is willing to help. So I am at a loss.

I am wondering too? Did you give her 2 doses? Or did you only give her one? Also, if she is drinking water and keeping it down then that is a good thing! You can try boiling some chicken and rice and see if she will eat that. Or pick up some puppy formula and let her drink that.

I try to give her by mistake babies cold tyenol the one that come with the dropper but she did not want it, when I check I realized my mistake and went to get children tylenol, the one I give my 6 yrs old son. Vet told me to give her half teaspoon but I gave her less than that because she was fighting me.

I did gave her the same children tylenol when she got her first set of shots and she was fine.

From now on, use children's Benadryl - it's much safer.

Good! Not that Tylenol is good.....but BOTH could have been catastrophic!
