I heard about the earthquake early this am - (scary stuff !) but wanted to say I'm so happy for you that he's improving

glad he is doing much better

yeah i was at a business conference off the 60 and the 5 in city of industry and on the first floor of a 12 floor hotel and it was not fun lolllll i drove back on the 5 and i guess there was some damage on the 5 scary

Update :

He's slipping a lot on my wooden floor but other than that he's about 90% back to normal :)

He's still having weird peeing habits though. I guess he can't lift either of his leg up for too long. But it's still better than the first 2-3 days :D

you can help that slipping by trimming all the hair from the bottom of his feet - I just use plain scissors and cut up away from the pads

If this were my pup, I would go to a neurologist. Only saying this because I had one that injured his back and he had symptoms just like you are describing. When it started, I thought he was slipping because of hair on his paws....and thought of other things, and nothing helped. The vets kept misdiagnosing him until he was unable to stand up. I ended up taking him to Texas A&M where he was admitted immediately and he had surgery the next day for two herniated discs. Thankfully, I got him there before it had progressed so far that he was a quad. He still had feeling...but that was going to be the next thing to go. :(

It cannot hurt to at least have a specialist examine him!

I've been wondering and wondering how he was doing. I'm glad to hear he is better. Please keep us updated on his progress because we care.:)
