| My poor guliver is not well guliver has a hip problem and now that he is nine, he is dragging himself when he walks. I see him and feel bad. I don't know if he is in pain. What u guys do if u were in my shoes? I can't afford to operate him, and to stay home while he is recovering. Any suggestions? Last edited by guliverandmaya; 01-17-2010 at 10:17 AM. |

| Have you taken him to a vet? I know it sounds like a serious problem, but it might have a simple solution. I know someone on here who found out that Lime Disease was causing her yorkie to limp and it was treated.

| Yes, I did He has been like for 5 years now. Lately it just gotten worse. Probably because of his age. It's not a disease. It's a bone problem. |

| I am so sorry. Have you tried applying for CareCredit? Here are some other sources that might help. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sic...vet-bills.html

| You might also contact some Yorkie rescues and see if they can help you. I think the first step though is a firm diagnosis and estimate. That way you know what you're dealing with and can start making plans. If you think he's in pain....please do something.
