| The vet thinks the blinds irritating his tummy could cause his ALT to be high. Do you think thats possible? The blinds are a flexible vinyl. My other baby Bo has already passed his. Didn't cause him any problems. Sorry to hear about your baby isn't well

| The dry is 25% protein and canned is 8.0%. They were on Wellness super mix which is 28% and I am still mixing it in with Nature Recipe. He is so picky. I bake them tilipia fish also. Is that ok to give them? It is very hard to find a low protein food he will eat.

| If that is my last resort I will home cook. It is very hard with my work schedule. They only thing about home cooking is that chicken seems to be the popular food to fix and that gives Rosco musucy poops. They finished up the rest of the tilipia. I will get cod next. Thanks for your help.

| I see you are from Tennessee. Do you have any hunting friends who would give you a leg of venison? Some hunters don't want to mess with the front leg, and it would give you lots of food. Boil it and debone it. Run it through the blender and mix it in the proper proportions with rice and veggies for home made food. Freeze it in ice cube trays, then pop them out and put then in a baggie. I feed it frozen in the summer, and thaw it in winter. We only use it when his tummy is acting up. Of course, check with your vet for your special situation first. |
