They are darling little babies, Lissette! In my next life I am going to be a yorkie in your home. :D I like being held and fed good food.

Thanks so much, everyone of these little souls are so worried about each other. Animals are amazing! They are just like us but cant communicate like us.

Oh, they definitely do know what's up. Whenever I have a sick one, the others are always so good to him/her....especially my Cookie. SHe is like a mother hen. She will go over to a sick pup and sniff them to check on them.
It is really amazing to watch them!

Dear Lisette,
I can only imagine the rollercoaster ride you have been on. You derserve excellent news tomorrow. Lola will be in my prayers tonight. I literally just lit a candle for your sweet angel. We love our doggies like children. Loads of luck!

I just spoke with Lissette and she is feeling so much better about Lola!
She will not be on a computer until later today and asked me to update everyone.
Dr. Hawthorne called her this morning and answered a lot of questions she had.
He assured her that Lola is fine....that her liver enzymes were only mildly
elevated and not a cause for grave concern. They are going to be retested
and will be tested as often as needed to be sure that the Sporanox is not
causing organ problems. There is no cause for alarm...all of her lab values look
great and have throughout all of this.

He said to feed her whatever she will eat for now because it is very important
that Lola not have an empty stomach with this powerful medicine.
It was nice to hear Lissette ... she sounded so much more hopeful. In previous
days my heart has broken for her....I could hear the concern and the fear in
her voice. She loves her babies so much.

Thanks for the update.......glad Lissette is feeling better. Somehow doc always has the ability to put things inter prespective and calm one down.

He sounds like a great vet....and great guy! My vet is like that...I can call her any time and I always get great advice and feel better after I speak with her.

She said he is a shoot from the hip kind of guy...I like that. I don't like to be coddled...just tell me the truth so I can deal with it.

You know...that is nice of you to say....but, everyone here is the same. That is why she asked me to post. She knows how many people are reading this and are concerned.

Thanks for posting this update, Linda. I can only imagine how much better Lissette feels this morning. It sounds like she and Lola have a wonderful doctor taking care of things.

Linda, Thank you so much for the update! Lola and Lissette have weighed heavy on my mind recently and it is good to hear positive news. I am so glad that her vet is on top of things and that they have a straight forward rapport - I know that is something I value as well.

I just talked to Linda. Lola has taken a turn for the worse - Lissette is on her way to the vet now. Please, keep them in your prayers!

Oh I hated seeing this update. :(

I continue to hold both precious Lola and Lissette in my prayers but will \'turn them up\'. Thank you for keeping us posted. :hands::hands:
