| Sounds very much like an allergic reaction. How old is he and how much does he weigh?

| My husband is going to get some right now. I called the vet as soon as I saw them. They said to try to get him in. This could not have happened on a worse week. we dont have $150 to take him! we r gunna try the benadryl and see if it helps. if so then we will watch him over night and take him to our regular vet in the morning. |

At his weight administer 3 CC of Benadryl. Watch his breathing, check to see if his tongue is not swollen........If his breathing becomes labored....no getting around it, you'll have to get him in.

| I do 1 cc for pups prior to vaccinations. 3cc for a dog your size is about right.

| Sounds like an allergic reaction, and quite a serious one too. If the vet said to get him in, then that is what I would do. Unfortunately, emergency situations like this don't care if you have money or not. Maybe the vet would understand and let you pay in installments? |
