Im heading over to Tennessee on May 26 for Sasha's Liver shunt surgery but I have heard about the flooding. How is it now? Is the flooding still really bad? Is the weather cold over there or is summer kicking in? Is Knoxville affected at all? I hope no one on here has been affected by it. |
I live about 45 min from Knox. and the eastern part of the state wasn't affected by flooding. The western portion was. Which airport will you be arriving at? |

Hey there! I was just thinking about you today. All is well here in Morristown and Knoxville. You will be fine flying into Mcghee Tyson. Now Nashville is a different story. They got major flooding, and alot of businesses are still closed down there. I would just play it by ear if wanting to travel to Nashville, but Knoxville your fine. I'll let ya know if anything happens here that may threaten your trip here. |

Lola had her surgery March 2008, so just over a year ago. She does have MVD, so her bile acids will never be normal. She was 13 months old when she had the surjery and a little over 3 lbs. She did great! |
That's great! I'm really hoping that Sasha doesn't have MVD but it almost seems like every yorkie that had the surgery has MVD =(. How is Nashville doing everybody? |
Does anyone on here have a Liver shunt corrected baby that doesn\'t have MVD and can eat regular dog food? I\'m really hoping that Sasha doesn\'t have MVD. I have read a lot of the stories on livershunt.net and a lot of the yorkies had MVD and a liver shunt. How can you tell that a dog has poor muscle development. |
