awww darn it. Those pics of Yoda just breaks my heart. His eyes show so much he doesnt feel well. Still sending prayers, good thoughts and yorkie kisses for Yoda to get better.

I do have the bloodwork labs scanned, and if anyone is interested I'd be happy to share them...

Here's a couple of pix of him tonight in my arms with the catheter still in his leg, as he'll go back tomorrow and they thought it best to leave it in...

what food did they send you home with? What meds? This same thing happened to dex he was sent home every night and back every day for fluids for 3 days. Was it vomitting or diarhea as dex only vomitted? He was given tramadol for pain i see but usually for vomitting they are giving cerenia these days for this.

I hope he gets better soon but this one takes a while to bounce back from and the important thing is to keep him from relapsing

many vets have in house spec cpli now as if you send out it takes 3-4 days for results and the tli comes back faster than cpli - tli tests for epi and cpli tests for pancreatitis

sounds like pancreatitis still to me and the electrolytes etc are off if excessive vomitting and diarhea as they get dehydrated

what is the fat percentage on the food you are feeding? Dex is on 8% fat diet now after having pancreatitis

I'm so sorry to hear this, some pancreatitis is just hereditary, and nothing that you did caused it. Yoda looks so sweet in those pictures, I'm praying he gets better real soon, and you find a diet that works for him.

Yoda's back at the vet this morning. The vets said he couldn't eat yesterday, so we didn't get sent home with any food at all. Nor did we get any meds for him for home. Yoda just had a bit of water. Prior to the vet visit yesterday, there was a bit of vomit, just yellow bile each of the past two days. There was no diarrhea, but his last poop was black, so there may have been blood in that poop. We unfortunately didn't save that poop.
