GREAT NEWS KEEP UP THE GOOD HEALTH YODA MAN:cool: |
We're glad to hear that Yoda is recovering nicely and is back to having a little spring in his step. Pancreatitis was one of the scariest things we ever went through with Barney. We thought he just wasn't feeling well one night...he just wasn't his happy-go-lucky Barney self...so we took him to the ER...and we were blown away, just devastated, when we had to leave him in the hospital for a whole 4 days and nights. Poor little baby. He came home and was back to himself in no time just like Yoda but it did take a few days! We kept him quiet just to give him time to heal. Sorry to hear about the stones too...Barney also had some small ones around the same time (coincidence?) and he does not have liver disease. We will keep Yoda and family in our thoughts. |
Yoda, hope you get better and better:animal-pa |
We were away for a family wedding this weekend, but wanted to check in on Yoda. So glad to hear he is home and returning to normal activities. Praying the meds and food will work wonders for him!!!! |
I'm just now seeing this and read his updates - I'm so glad he's doing better !! That was alot to face all at once - All the best and I hope Yoda will be back to his old self soon - Have a great holiday FE and family.... |
Yeaaa Yoda! Were so happy your feeling yourself....Merry Christmas! |

Feel Better Yoda! I'm so sorry to just be seeing this now as I have been on MT and sort of neglected YT.........really glad that I read through the whole thread and that he is doing better! Way to go Yoda.......will still send postive thoughts and prayers that you continue to feel better and some for you to FE & the Mrs. :) |
Sorry, I am just now reading about Yoda's ordeal...so thankful he seems to be on the mend and acting more like himself again. Get well soon Yoda and please stay that way...deal? |
so happy to read that little yoda is doin good, have a happy new year xx |
Oh yeh!:yay_jump: So good to catch up & see that Yoda:animal36 dear, you're on the mend! ***I did have a question tho' for your Daddy...you might want to cover your  ears for this...but, FE...will Yoda need a Cystotomy for his Bladder Stones? I've fostered two Yorkies now that required this surgery and each had a different kind of stone, Calcium Oxalate (the worse of the two) & Struvite (the stone of choice...I guess:rolleyes:). Anyway...I was just curious about that and interested to know what course of treatment Yoda's Vet is recommending for the stones specifically. Take care & big hugs to you, Yoda:animal36 & your family...Winky-Wu:animal36,Daddy:boy: & Momma:girl:, too!:D |
So glad to hear that Yoda is on the mend and feeling better!! This was very scary I am sure and I just want to thank you for sharing - the information is valuable to many of us! Huggs |

Just dropping in to see how Yoda is doing? :) |
I missed this, but I'm so happy to read that Yoda is doing better. I hope he is continuing to do well, too.:) |
Checking back in on Yoda too & hoping he is continuing to feel better!;) |
sending prayers and hugs. :love-hug3:big_hug: i know how difficult this can be. my dog has had stomach issues for the past 2 years. she was diagnosed at first with gastritis and was always on antibiotic and pepcid; then this past november she was diagnosed with pancreatitis and was put on RC digestive LF, but then relapsed. was admitted to the ER (long story there) and the ER vet said she might have IBD and put her on purina pro plan lamb and rice. she can't have anything else. best of luck |
Sending a Prayer Yoda's way :hands: |
Glad to hear Yoda's feeling better...... |
We are so glad that Yoda is feeling better:):) Joy and Chloe:aimeeyork |
Yoda's doing great! Thanks for everyone's good thoughts and prayers! He has lost a bit of weight (which is GOOD!); he fluctuates between 7.5 and 8 pounds, depending on the time of day, which is about 1.5 pounds lighter than before... Both Yoda and his brother Winky are on the same low-fat diet (Royal Canin Digestive Low Fat LF from the vet with white rice). They both love this food! He still gets a treat or two a day (usually a cookie or a Greenie). His energy level is great, he humps his girlfriend (stuffed cat) about 3 to 4 times a week and we take walks almost every day (about 15-20 minute walks). We have not yet gone back for follow up blood work yet. We're looking to have him settle into this new diet for a while and then see how the blood work shows up... |
So glad to hear the good report on Yoda!! Thanks so much for the update. Huggs |
Great news! Glad he is doing well! :) |
Woohoo, thanks for the Yoda update! Humping is ALWAYS a good sign! |
So glad Yoda is doing better and getting all that exercise. ;) Thanks for the update. |

i know that yoda has digestive issues; so please read up on "Greenies".; dogs can't digest them and they may cause more problems for your little baby. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/fun...-greenies.html http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...-greenies.html good luck! |
It's so nice to see he's doing well. |
