I have NO Idea how I missed this.

I am so sorry you are going through this right now. I went through pancreaitis with Layla- and it is so scary to know our little ones aren't 100% healthy. Please keep us updated- we will be praying for sweet Yoda- hope this gets cleared up soon. I don't know much abotu liver disease but pancreaitis can be managed quite well with diet.

Just seeing this, sending prayers to you sweet boy, Fe you need anything let me know. :(

Checking in on Yoda today. Glad to hear you are getting some answers, but so sorry poor Yoda is getting nailed at so many angles. Stones - OUCH!!! I hope the pain meds are working for him and you will be able to get him better in no time!!!

I hope you are feeling better today!! Laci too had pancreatitis and it is soo very scary.. I hate to think Yoda being sick over the holidays, I am hoping he will have a very speedy recovery.

It is so saddening to hear of Yoda not doing well. I hope and pray he is well soon and that you are able to get the answers you need and move forward with YODA back to 100% soon.

It truly breaks my heart when one is sick. I wish they could talk and tell us exactly what is wrong and where they hurt .. Instead we are their voices.

It is my prayer that the members of YT rally together for this little man and he is touched by GOD almighty with powerful prayers.

I also hold each and every YT member and their sick babies in my prayers.

I do not get to visit often but hope to be back on more after the first of the year.

We're extremely touched by everyone's comments and suggestions and help! :)

Yoda is now back home! YAY! He has been more active today, they took him for a little walk around the vet clinic and he got to sniff around and mark some territory. We brought him home and he was able to eat more food today. He has been feeling like walking around the house more and was even able to walk up his three stairs to lay in his favorite position, which is Daddy's lap on the couch. He's also been able to bark and growl when he feels someone may be intruding upon his domain. :)

Yoda is due back at the vet in a week or two to do bloodwork to see if there are any changes. We're going to be putting him on a strict diet, most likely rice with chicken breast, along with the vet recommended Royal Canin Digestive Low Fat LF. He is still supposed to get famotidine (Pepcid AC) 2.5mg by mouth twice daily for a while.

Thanks again to everyone that has supported us and given us support and hope through this whole ordeal. We hope Yoda continues to get stronger and stronger each day. I hope every member that posts in this Sick & Emergency forum gets support and help they need for their troubled Yorkies.

Thanks for the update, FE, and for sharing the details of your travails. Any one of us could be going through the same thing, so it's nice to have a record of symptoms, diagnoses and treatments. You guys are the best.

I hope he continues to feel better, the numbers stabilize - and whatever this is, it will be manageable long-term through diet and prevention. I know all will be well for our beloved Yoda.

We just loved hearing his little bark last night, it was just so comforting to hear again. He has some of old Yoda spunk back already!

After all that YT has helped us with diet, toys, and yummy treats, we figured it's best to give back when we can and perhaps help other people in the future with such symptoms or problems if anyone ever searches this topic. And we really appreciate all the good thoughts and prayers for our little Yoda -- Mr. Green Eyes! :)

Oh Yoda, we are so glad that you are feeling better. We know how stressful it is to have one of your babies sick. I'm just seeing this. So glad things are looking up!

Yoda's recovering well, he's even able to beg for food when we eat now, not that we can give him any of course... :)

He's in good spirits, has had a walk each day and has been able to have a good poop each day. He roams the house and is very active and happy, which we're so happy to see! He's napping now, right next to his Daddy. He wishes everyone a happy and fun weekend!

Woohoo, good job Yoda! Amazing what a difference a diet change can make. Keep it up, Yoda! You're in great hands.
