| Lipming, not even placing paw on ground... dont know why! I was dog sitting a friends yorkie boy last night (a brother to my Alice) and for some reason he disided to sleep on the cold ground in the coldest room in the house... and I mean cold... I had the window open in that room to keep the plants fresh and its like snowing outside... I found him this morning had no idea he snuck in there.... and he was limping when I woke him up... he didnt get hurt at all as far as I know... I was thinking maybe it was just from sleeping on the ground and cold... but its been 4 hrs and still he wont put his foot down... I inspected and there are no cuts or anything and he doesnt seem to yelp when I touch it... his owner isnt mad at me but im worried about him, what do you think? help please...

Donating YT 500 Club Member | My dad had a pit bull who would limp sometimes for my father's attention. My father made sure he wasn't hurt and realized what the dog was doing. Try cuddling the dog and see what happens. Maybe the dog was upset at being cold and needs some TLC...

| How old is your friend's yorkie? Really cold weather like that will make any arthritis he may have very painful. I think he needs to go to a vet if he doesn't start using it soon.

| It's been about 12 hours then, and he still won't put his foot down? I think he needs to go to the vet. He must have done something to hurt himself while you were asleep.
