| Sick Yorkie please help Hi my Yorkie has been acting strange since yesterday. She had diahrea yesterday and a little today she's been very lethargic sleeping all day no energy and now she won't eat or drink anything. I brought her to the ER last night they gave me medicine for nausea, worms, and diahrea. I haven't noticed any improvement today. I have a vet appt on Friday but I'm worried. Any idea what is causing this? And will I be ok to wait till Friday? She's 9 weeks and I just got her a week ago. Please give me an answer if possible I'm so concerned. |

| Because she is so young, waiting until Friday isn't a good idea. Did the vet suggest any blood work or fecal testing last night? Are her gums pink?

| No he did not do any of that just gave me the medicine. He said it didn't seem like parvo disease but I'm just worried bc she seems so unhappy and this morning she at least was eating but now not eating anything. |

| Oh, dear. Your puppy should still be with her mother. Even a minor tummy upset can be very dangerous in a puppy so young. She is at a real risk for hypoglycemia if she is not eating. Toy Breed Hypoglycemia I would not wait until until Friday to see the vet. She needs to be seen tomorrow morning if you can't get her to eat. |
