ladyjane, when you give Lomotil, is that the only med you give or is your baby on other meds as well? I've called several vets here, and none of them were familiar with using Lomotil for CT.
I am interested in Prince using it. It sounds safer than some of the meds that he has to take. Are your baby's poops ok after taking Lomotil?

Ozzy was on multiple medications when we introduced the Lomotil. No, it never affected his stools at all! It did not affect my friends pup either.

All I can tell you is that he was on all of the same meds that are routinely given and was having a terrible time. For a while, the Lomotil gave him quite a bit of relief. I was actually surprised because it seemed like such an odd med to use; but I trust my vet and decided to try it after she showed me the book.
