| ![]() i can't thank you all enough for the opinions i got for Buckeye last night. something so seemingly trivial to most people was a big deal with me and buckeye. I somethimes think i am over reacting and the vet knows more about the subject than i do. i did end up giving him more water last night and very early this morning i gave him food also. he was peeing and pooping as regular. and...yes while he was at the vets getting this done (after so many calls and he had not started on him by 11:30) i was on the internet looking for another vet. if they had not done anything with him by the next call i was going to go get him and never take him back.

| ![]() My vet said to let her have what she wanted after she was good and awake. He was afraid she'd get dehydrated. She only ate a tiny bit the first day, but she was thirsty!

| ![]() so glad your baby is now satisfied!!!!whew!!!!!!!!! The reason they wanted you to withhold food and water is do to the anethesia, if they are not FULLY awake there is a chance that they will aspirate food or water into their little lungs ![]() I probably wouldn't give any more than necessary untill tomorrow am ![]() |

| ![]() When Sabrina had her teeth cleaned, the DR. said to let her eat if she felt like it, because she was so little and had already been without food for almost 24 hours. I gave her just a little because she was completely awake, and she was hungry too. It made her feel better.
