thank you. Her given name was Pumpkin but since thats the name that the abusers probably called her, I renamed her Little One.

I saw that under one of her pics, but they all had little cutsie names. What a sweetie she was. She is at peace and knew how much she was loved.

My sweet little Byron just got dxed with Chronic Kidney Failure and I am devastated. I am reading these posts and my heart goes out to all of you that have traveled this path. My Yorkie is my constant companion .. he is with me all the time. Shopping, traveling, visiting, he has my heart. I can not stop crying -- I know I am going to lose him, but I think I can't bear it.

has anyone tried dialysis ? I know it is expensive, but if it would save him -- I am willing to do it ...
Also there is this book --KIDNEY DISEASE BREAKTHROUGHS -- has anyone tried that ? I think diet can go a long way to help manage the disease -- what does everyone else thinK

Do not despair. Many dogs live for several productive years with Kidney failure. There are many things you can do. There are special diets, supplements and especially important is SubQ fluid injected under the skin. Check out this website for great info: Kidney Disease
