Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sorry Baille is sick. Hopefully it is just the steak and by not giving him table food he will be ok. I would get blood work done anyway at 12. Hope he feels better soon.

| I'm not exactly sure where this vet is getting these ideas, but bloodwork comes "before" biopsy. Some intestinal problems can be diagnosed without surgery. Yes, certain foods can cause these types of problems, the most concerning of which is pancreatitis. It's not okay to skip bloodwork. He should be getting it yearly at this age anyway.

| blood work and xrays befor biopsy; my dog had 2 similar episodes vomiting pure blood; ended up twice in ER; they weren't sure what it is; but said it's gastritis due to something she ate; i gave her a new treat a day earlier; so maybe that caused it; now i dont give her any dog treats; just apples carrots and bananas; ask the vet to do blood work , xray or ultrasound first before biobsy; she might recover only if they give her IV; after the hospital u can feed her boiled chicken with rice or gerber baby food; also i recommend the honest kitchen food for sensitive stomach dogs. best of luck

| glad to hear he's doing better; it's not only his age; we're not supposed to feed them fried or sauted steak; there's special homemade food you can feed if u want; reserach the recipes. good luck
