I am so late in posting my well wishes and am just ecstatic that Sam is okay...

Thanks all. I set my alarm for every two hours so I could check on him during the night. He did good all night, no temp or throwing up.

This morning at 5 I fed him some boiled chicken that I had put in the crock pot last night.

He is definetly hungry but I dont want to feed him too much at once so I am feeding him every two hours. He just ate and is curled up sleeping again.

He still has not showed signs of wanting to play or what not but I think we are on our way since he has a desire to eat.

Thanks all, I gave him some plain oatmeal with the chicken the past two times. He seems to be doing ok. Just still resting, not wanting to play. He has moved from his bed to the chest in front of the window.

He is trying to do neighborhood watch while curled up under his blankie and head on pillow

TWALLA!!! i'm so sorry you had to go thru this with your little Sammy! And i'm so glad he's feeling better. You know i adore that little Sammy of yours !!! Don't see it as panicing...see it as loving and caring about your baby! Tell Sammy to keep up the good work on the neighborhood watch and i hope he feels better soon!!

I just saw this thread and hurried through it, praying for a good outcome. I am so glad that he's doing better. Sure makes you wonder what the heck happened, huh? Get well kisses to precious little Sam and hugs to you! I can understand the panic...I do that too when something scary happens!

Glad Sam seems to be doing better! Nice job getting him to the vet in a hurry. That must have been terrifying.

I am just seeing this also. I am so glad that Sam is doing so much better! Now everyone in the neighborhood can rest peacefully with Sam the watchdog back!

I am so glad that little Sam is doing ok, and feeling a little better. I have myself twice now, bawled my head off on both my girls at the vets office, right in front of the vet

Last time, just a few days ago, and that was with taking 2 anxiety pills.

My brother has to drive me as well, it is nearly an hr to the hospital, and the first time when Suzi was ill, I ran off the road and blew two tires out> Yep , I was a mess.
Know how u feel, when it comes to out darlings being sick and NOT knowing what it is , or what to do. It is the most helpless feeling in the world. My little 5 month old Miley had to have surgery and stay over night , and It was the end of the world for me> She is healing now, but goshhh what a horrid experience.
I hope dear Sam is going to be ok. I feel badly for him. Hang in there ! Glad he is home and healing

I am just now seeing this, oh poor Sam...sorry to hear he's been sick, but thrilled beyond relief to hear he is doing better. Come on Sam, perk up for mom will ya?
