I have always repected your opionions and still do. Please take a look at how people helped this lady. She has not been back on and people want answers. Show me the results. How are the puppies and the mom doing? Did you take them to the vet? We- have- no -answers -so sure its frustrating because so many are being pts everyday. I have been a member since 2007. I was very irresponsible but guess what? I learned from this site. We all make mistakes not one of us are perfect but the key is to learn from your mistake and move on. Those who keep on doing the same mistake over and over are just down right Greedy and Money hungry. JMO |

Sometimes, tact is exactly what is needed. Seeing as you took "part" of my response and decided to "view it" incorrectly, let me simplify it for you? "I" do not any longer show, nor breed..but I did for over 15 yrs, and had some dogs in the top ten. I only bred when "I" wanted a puppy for myself. I had many calls for puppies when I did not have any litters. What I DID do, was talk with the callers..some had big dreams about breeding. With those people, MAYBE one or two actually wanted to learn and do it the right way..the others had NO clue of the "what ifs" and decided that they didn't want to take the risks. They were SO thankful that they could tell me their plans without being jumped on! These people turned out to be very, very reputable breeders that also did well in the showring. So.."birds of a feather"?? You bet! I "flock" with honest, ethical, caring people that are willing to do what is right for ALL dogs, cats, and animals in general. I will not engage in any more arguments there is no sense in that..you obviously have good intentions gone astray. |

How wonderful! Care to share your breeding history with us? Do you have a website? Names of your champions? I would love to see them! |

Can you please give an update? There are many (probably most) who really are concerned and want to know. I hope you found the help you needed and the pups got to a vet. I really dont think anyone meant to start an argument. People here are passionate and concerned. Dont take that as anything, except they have learned from their mistakes, or they are helping sick babies everyday and just want to see people do the right thing. They are trying to help you. It is hard to interpret a post/thread, but everyone here LOVES YORKIES! We all want the best for your babies & Mommy. I pray they were seen by the Vet that day. I hope you let us know how they all are. You said you were getting her spayed so that tells me you have already learned something. Good for you. |

I was one of the very first people to post to the OPer days ago. Seeing the title of her thread made me jump into action and I PMed several breeders looking for help for these puppies, told the OPer to seek medical assistance immediately and then sat back and watched this thread so on and on. It made me SICK that puppies had and were dying but also what was upsetting was the amount of people who were coming back looking at this for an answer. I then waited SEVERAL days to see if there would be an update and THAT IS WHEN I started to dig around. It was not until there were so many people looking for an update that I realized that something was terribly wrong with this entire thing. I looked at the post count and BINGO there is all was and I SAW THE LIGHT and my answer. Bashing NO speaking the truth SURE AM! It's all right there in black and white...........irresponsible, uninformed, pet ownership and breeding for greed :thumbdown So instead of the light bulb going on with the truth some of you have gone into attack mode because of the what the messenger brought to the thread. You should be OUTRAGED not at LJ, Armywife, MM and myself but at the root of the problem. Isn't it also interesting how the OPer didn't show back up until THIS morning but no update  Tell us you have sick and dead puppies, make everyone concerned and get people praying and hugging you~now STAND UP AND TELL US THE OUTCOME! I believe in taking responsibility and OWNING IT but sadly that is not the same motto that everyone carries! I have seen great breeders come on and have sick puppies and even a mom that has died after years of responsible breeding. Yeap~sure as hell they get my sympathy and RESPECT you know why because they have EARNED IT! If the OPer was breeding properly, none of this mess would have happened. In the VERY LEAST she would have had a few phone numbers of EXPERIENCED YT BREEDERS to call in an emergency. That is how mentoring works, you form a network of support just like in rescue. there is have a network of support that we can turn to when there are issues, questions, you are stressed out~whatever. If I have questions I know exactly who I am going to speak to about them. Finally, I have made friendships on this board from my REPUTATION and I surround myself with people that are of like mind. |
