| Constipated Puppy Not sure if this is the right place to post but I am wondering if anybody can help me with my puppy. He sometimes gets constipated. He is 11 weeks old and I asked the vet and they suggested a warm water enema, which I am really not comfortable doing as I have NO clue how to do it. I have tried Karo Syrup it does "ok" but still he is constipate. The weird thing is, is that it's not all the time.

| I think you got some great advise and I would not do the enema as you could do some damage. You say he has had this before which is odd, what are you feeding your little one and I know this is a dumb question but is his fanny shaved so the poop comes out easy.

| Mine has chronic constipation no matter what I feed. Some dogs just have constipation like people. I tried every thing. The vet told me to give green beans and see how it went as the green veggies are higher in fiber. The green beans made a diff. But not enough for mine so vet said to add Metamucil. Now with the green beans and metamucil he's pooping great. |
