YorkieTalk Newbie! | Gagging I am very worried about my Corky, he has times that he start's gaging as if he is going to vomit but he dosen't. He just gaging & gaging. Then he will quit and not do it for hours or maybe the next day ??? Has anyone had this problem ??? |

| Is he a puppy does he have kennel cough, my puppy had kennel cough and did the same thing. I took her to the bet they gave me anitbiotic's and she was fine after about a week...

| It sounds like kennel cough to me too. You might want to go ahead and schedule an appointment with the vet.

YorkieTalk Newbie! | Cough I took him to the vet Friday and she gave him his kennel cough vacine in his nose...she also said his heart and lung's sounded great.. but since the he has still had these gagging/coughing spells. |

| gagging this sounds more like collapsing trachea than kennel cough. It is very common in the toy breeds. Your dog may require x-rays to determine if he/she has a trachea problem. |

| i read the info on the kennel cough intranasal once and thought i read something about it possibly giving the dogs kennel cough at times. you might need to go back to the vet and get him looked at for sure |

| these videos were so helpful my little yorkie is doing that reverse sneeze. it panicked me i thought it might be his trachea....thankz so much
