| Help! 11wk old pup Swollen Lymph Node Hi everyone! I'm new and need your expert opinion. My Cookie is 12 weeks this Sunday. We noticed that she has a lump near the left (her left) genital area (leg pit). I brought her the the vet 2 days ago and was told it was a swollen lymph node possibly due to an infection. She is put on antibiotic called Bioclav. We've noticed the lump about more than a week ago but was not as big. Today there is a red dot on the lymph node area. We also noticed she has some sneezing, very mild gagging/coughing (not often), she is VERY active/hyper, eating and drinking fine (drinking a lot), feces look normal, eyes look a bit red, her body/belly is very warm, round and tight/firm. We think it could be cold that she caught?... please let me know if anyone has experienced this or help with possible treatment... I will try to post some pix as well Much appreciated Last edited by cookie_monster; 09-11-2009 at 10:31 PM. |

| Awww, poor baby! I'd go back to the vet, or at least give them a call. They may need to give a different antibiotic to clear the infection, or to look at it again to make sure of the diagnosis. I'm glad she's acting normal in every way, that's good!
