| ![]() My 3yr old 12lb yorkie was prescribed 4mg of Chlorpheniramine today, an antihistimine for skin irritation. I didn't realize until I just gave him the first dose that he should be receiving 1/2 a pill twice a day (two 2mg doses) instead of one 4mg pill. He basically took doses at once, or a full day's dose. Since it's basically more than prescribed in a timeframe, rather than taking too much (i.e. more than 1 pill) do i need to take him to the emergency vet or induce vomiting, or will his system be able to handle this? |
