I'm sorry but I think she really needs to be treated by a professional. If you aren't able to afford the expense you may wish to consider releasing her to a rescue so she gets the care she needs. I'm very sorry she's been injuried.

| ![]() Spinal/neurologic issues definately do not need to be taken lightly. What exactly has your vet diagnosed? What are the symptoms? How have they been treated? I have been dealing with back issues on my little guy for about six months now. Is he referring you to a specialist for surgery or diagnosis or?? These are all important details that you need to provide when asking for help in dealing with these problems. I will say that acupuncture (done by a veterinarian at a referal center after proper diagnositics) has helped Ryder immensely. However, it will not and cannot "solve" the problem.

| ![]() so sorry but i agree we need more info and i agree if too costly there are some wonderful rescues that can take care of the cost but you will have to sadly surrender your dog to them. Vet care is not cheap that is for sure and sadly i know all too well and i never had any idea of the cost until it happened to me so I definitely feel for you -- let us know some more info but my gut is this is not an easy situation and will require a neurologist or orthopedic if vet is recommending a specialist |
