| ![]() hi all, my yorkie is 3 years old now, she started being sick only once on saturday evening, sunday she was sick twice, she has been eating and drinking fine and was being her normal self until this evening(monday) around 5 in the evening she was her normal self playing ball, and doing her normal things, a few minutes after i noticed she had peed on the floor, was quite a lot, ten minutes after she did the same again, about half hour after this i thought my daughter had taken her out for a walk as our other dog was not at home nor as my daughter, it was then noticed that gypsie was laying lifeless in our court yard, we took her to the emergency vet who said that there was nothing wrong with her,she livened up when we got her home, she was back to her normal self again, it has now been 3 hours since we have been home and she has peed again quite a lot of pee again. if any one has any advice please. thank you. |

| ![]() My advice would be to get her into her regular vet for a complete and thorough check up, bloodwork included. Sorry she is feeling poorly.... ![]() |

| ![]() Sometimes they can get a UTI or have bladder stones. That will make them throw up and feel bad, frequency in urination. Watch the urine for any pink or bloody tinge. Use a white paper towel to blot it up and look at it. Also, you can use a piece of white tissue or paper towel, and blot it against her body where she pees and see if there is any pink or red there. Do this immediately after she goes. Blotting their body with white tissue is very helpful if they go to the potty on grass and you are not able to see it. You are right to get her to your regular vet ASAP.
