| Heat Question Taylor started to go into heat around July 1st, with the swelling and such. She actually went into heat July 8th or so. She has no more discharge, but is still very swollen on her nipples. They almost feel like they have milk in them. Is this normal? If so how long should this swelling last. I am trying to schedule her spaying, but I was advised to wait until the swelling goes away. Thanks for any Help. Tami <>< |

Has she been around any males? If not, then she maybe going through a false pregnacy.

| My Leeloo is also the same way. I noticed her heat on 7/23. She doesn't have any discharge but her nipples are really big and swollen. She hasn't been anywhere near a male so i know she isn't pregnant. I was wondering how long she may last

| She should be back to normal soon. However, if it is a concern to you, you may want her checked out by vet. Just to make sure she's not in a false pregnancy. It's not uncommon.

| Well mine started the discharge today and I have so many questions How long does it last? is there anything I can do to help her feel better? the poor thing reminds me of me when I get my period and I'm not feeling good? She looks a bit miserable. I put a pamper on her because she sleeps with me. Do they get cramps?
