| ![]() Hello YT, An hour ago my dog ran to me with a sneezing fit. He keeps licking his left nostril and sneezing. At times it seems like he has the equivalent of a human's stuffy nose. This is the first time he's sneezed like this. He seemed to go to sleep for a little bit but began to sneeze again after his ball bonked him on the nose. Any ideas? What could it be? |

| ![]() Jack was inside by the main entrance. He has since settled down, but still sneezes occasionally. Maybe a sneeze every 10 minutes or so. I've checked his nose and nothing seems to be visible. It's a small opening... How can something get in there? |

| ![]() I remember a friend telling me that her yorkie had a tiny grass piece in her nose that made her sneeze. Zander had reverse sneezing I discovered it was due to something in the food he was on, natures variety, once I changed the food the sneezing stopped. I hope your cutie settles and the sneezing stops. ![]()

| ![]() The sneezing rang a bell with me and I looked on YouTube. Our own AlaskaYorkie posted a video on YouTube about his dog getting a foxtail in his nose, sneezing was the result.

| ![]() the only think i would be concerned with is foxtail - is that a possibility? if not then allergies and my girl did this one night and we were freaking out but she stopped by next day - maybe wipe down nose with warm wash cloth in case something is tickling her nose |

| ![]() Thanks for all the ideas. My wife and I took him to the vet and were advised to have an HMT and some benadryl. The doc says that his symptoms aren't life threatening, so that's a good sign. He most likely stuck his nose in a dusty corner and took a whiff. It's just so odd for him to sneeze for hours on end. Update coming soon. |

| ![]() He didn't sneeze once during the visit to the vet and the ride home. Figures. Jack went into the yard this morning and began to sneeze a few more times. He has a healthy appetite and is going to the bathroom. Although his nose isn't sensitive to the touch, he still lets out a few good sneezes while in the yard. How much is allergy medication? Is it hard to give to the dog? |

| ![]() Benadryl is allergy medicine, it can also make the user sleepy.
