| Has anyone heard of this Flea remedy? I didn't know which site to put this on...... Has anyone ever heard of this flea remedy? And is it safe? My friend said she got it from another friend and it works on their Huskie. Here it is: 1 Cup Skin So soft 1 cup White Vinager 1 cup Water 3 Tbls of Citernella oil Mix together put in spray bottle. Spray on your dog lightly and rub in. All three of my dogs have had flea problems bad this year. To the point where they were chewing and scratching so bad their hair was coming out and small red bumps and rash. Was using Frontline Plus on 2 of them and Advantage on the other one. Took to the vet got shots and bath shampoo. We have sprayed the yard 3 times. I am just rattling on I have been so upset watching them and trying to help them. Here I go again. sorry. Has anyone heard of the above sulotin? Thanks ahead of time worried mom __________________

| I use it! I use it on my horses (for flies and mosquitoes), and it has to be applied DAILY! Which is a bit of a pain, and it only deters them, it does not kill them. And it is, frankly an oily mess... much better suited for the barn than the furniture! |

| Yes, I think that would be an oily mess also! And since it only works to deter them, you still don't really solve your flea problem. We have fleas really bad in our area too. Our vet has our two dogs on Sentinel for flea and heartworm prevention (taken on the 1st of the month) and also on Comfortis (taken on the 15th of the month). We've had great success with this combination. Maybe ask your vet about those. Frontline Plus didn't work well for us at all.

My furkids Donating Member | this is from a holistic vet. 15 drops of peppermint oil to 1 cup of water. Mix in a spray bottle...DO NOT spray directly on the dog. Spray on a rag/towel and wipe them down..all over except the face. My Mom has been using this all summer and her little one hasn't had one flea or tick! you can apply everyday if you want...NO CHEMICALS! She only applies if she feels she needs to.

| You can buy the oils at a health food store. You can probably order them on the internet too. Maybe Amazon? |

| Just use Dawn Dish Soap it is the safest flea remedy I would think. I use it for my bullies, and for Gucci (Yorkie) I just use Revolution .. Maybe you can try that as well. |
