| How much would you pay$$$$$ Well, I took Pablo to his first year check up. I have been waiting for him to gain weight before having him neutered. He weighs about 2.9. His teeth are in bad shape for a one year old. I brush his teeth daily and use oxy fresh in their water. He is scheduled for a dental and neuter in 2 weeks. They quoted me $600.00. I think this is very high, what do you think. This does not include full blood panel. I had this done during his checkup. He will be under for 30 min for his dental. This does include IV fluids,Analgesic,ECG,Laser Neuter. Need your advice. |

| It seems high to me as well, we paid around $250-300 for Ryder. We had them clean his teeth, extract two, neuter, and paid extra for a better pain killer. Good luck, I am curious what others have paid- but we only paid about 1/2.

| I agree the price seems a bit high to me. Please don't be afraid to call around to several vets in your area for price quotes. People do it all the time. Also if you can ask your friends with pets for referrels |

♥ Catherine My Love ♥ Donating Member | vets It sounds high, though I have heard of worse. Vets are like everyone else, they set prices, and if people are willing to pay it, they can charge that much. Around here a neuter is about $50 and a dental is about $50 with extractions - a netuer takes about 15 or 20 minutes. But, there are vets around here that charge $300 for the dental and about that for a neuter. some people will pay that - I guess they think if it costs more it must be better.

| That is just about the price we were quoted. Ours is going to be about $700.00 for spay and 8 baby teeth. Bella is suppose to go in on the 27th for her's. Since we had taken out Petplan for her awhile back, I'm going to see if it will at least cover the teeth, since I know it won't the spay.
