| Teeth cleaned at noon, how long will he sleep Buddy had his teeth cleaned around noon, and I picked him up as he started awakening. It's 4:30, and he's still sleeping most of the time. He responds to stimuli, such as touching his eyelashes or sounds of the refrigerator, etc. But he only opens his eyes, lifts his head, and lays his head back down. It's hot (no A.C., but he doesn't want to drink yet. Am I okay to just wait it out? |

| Thank you! I am so glad you replied. Thank you. I just wasn't sure. I thought he was okay, but hearing from someone else really helped. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | When Pixie had her teeth cleaned they called me after she was done and said she was awake but tried and they kept her about 5-6 hours more so when I picked her up she was fully awake so maybe in a few more hours he will be more alert. Like Kellie said it does knock them out for a day. If it is real hot maybe putting some cold washclothes on him to col him down or offer him to lick on ice cubes. Keep us posted!

| Rockie had his teeth cleaned yesterday at am and l went to check on him at 12:45, he was still drowsy, just lifting his head a little and sniffing nanas fingers. Vet told me to come back at 3:30 but l went back at 2:45 and he was doing fine just a little bit still drowsy. I was so glad.

| By 11 p.m. he was almost back to his normal self Little Buddy slept almost continually until about 6 or 7 p.m last night. Then he woke and I fed him a popsicle, just to get some water in him. By 9 he wanted to eat a little, but was still walking gingerly and a bit sluggish. He was back to normal this morning when we woke up. Whew. Don't we worry over these little guys. He's the light of my life. Thank you all for your reassurance. |
