Does anyone know of a good but reasonable medical insurance that will cover emergency C sections on Yorkies?

Hi There!

I have 2 pamphlets that were given to me by a specialist when I took my Misty in for an ultrasound. I'm not sure what it covers, but here are the 2 providers:

ASPCA Insurance
1-866-861-9092

Unfortunately, most of the insurance companies have a 14 day wait period before claims can be submitted, and they exclude pre-existing conditions. If you already know she needs a C-section, I'm sorry to say it's probably too late and they won't cover it. I know this for a fact with VPI (previous policy) and Embrace (current policy)...

Most wont cover anything reproduction related...they just want to make money and they know they wont if they include breeding animals in their policies.

Most pet insurance do not cover anything related to breeding or delivery. You'll have to be specific and ask. But it's true...14 days wait. I have petplan and like it alot. VPI has 148 complaints against them with the BBB. Petplan had 3 and all were resolved. One reason I went with Petplan
