| Bee Sting Prissy in my cuddle bug so I touch her alot. Therefore, I tend to know about any scabs or bug bites she has. Yesterday at about 5 p.m. she came in from the back yard and she had big swollen spot on her back (bear her bumb). It was about a quarter of a the size of a golf ball. I touched it a bit and she wasn't sensitive at all. After about an hour and a half it seemed to have decreased in size a bit, and the lump was a little bit harder. It was still the same size and hardness this morning. I assume it is a bee sting because I am pretty sure that it wasn't there at noon (the last time I was cuddling her). I thought I would watch it for a few days, as it doesn't seem to bother her, before I called the vet. She did get her immunizations 8 days ago. But I don't think it is from that bc the lump seemed to appear in minutes. Has anybody else experienced this? |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | It is not uncommon for them to develop a bump at the site of an injection. I didn't notice when Pixie got one on her upper thigh area until my husband noticed and I brush her every day and she has a thin coat. So it could be you didn't see it at first. You could check with the vet to make sure (that's what I did as I wasn't sure where she had gotten the injection. Either way since she is acting ok she should be fine. I know it's hard not to worry about our babies.
