| I have no idea what he could be stressed over. He is treated like a little King.. Although he does have a new son that is almost 7 weeks old...

| How old is he? Mites, thyroid problems or losing the puppy coat come to mind.

| He will be two on Halloween. He takes flea pills, gets a bath once a week, sometimes every other week. He only goes outside to potty.. I have never heard of dogs getting mites That's why I like yorkietalk. I learn something new all the time!! I will read up on thyroid problems..

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Where is he losing his hair? What does the skin look like underneath and elsewhere? Is there itching? Any other new symptoms?

| Please tell more How old is your Yorkie? How is he/she losing hair? In patches or is there a great deal more hair in the brush when you brush him/her? If he/she hasn't been brushed regularly, the winter coat could be just now coming loose. WHERE is the hair loss? On the face, belly, feet? Are there just bare patches of skin showing, or is he just getting thinner-coated all over? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | You should probably have the thyroid checked.

| I agree with Anne, also a vet trip is in order to rule out any other possible medical issues. Allergies might be a reason too. Giving too many baths can irritate the skin as well, or not rinising out the shampoo well enough can cause itching and irritation. I hope Kingsley feels better .
