| My Mother called me crying! I'm at work today being very busy as usual. The phone rings and I notice its my home number. I pick it up only to hear my mother (who lives with us) crying hysterical on the other end. After I told her I couldn't under stand her she needed to calm down. ( I thought it was something with my brother, he has leukemia) She tells me Lilly ( my 3 months old puppy) has licked up poison from the floor and is throwing up. I rushed home. Lilly seemed ok, but was making those noises that dogs make when they want to throw up , but don't. I call the vet, to find out she is in a emergency operation, but the person answering the phone decides to interupt her. I was told that I just needed to wash out her mouth and keep an eye on her for the next few hours. While all this is going on the wind blows open the door and there goes Bell!! I drove the car down near the gate ( as that was the way she was headed, near the very busy intersection) I finally trapped her in a neighbors garage.( Thank God) ALso thank God Lilly is back to normal! But it was a very scarey day!!

| oh gosh what a fright... If its known for fact your dog has eaten or licked up something that is poisonous use a teaspoon of proxide wait 15 min if that hasnt induced vomiting repeat it only once, same dosage....if that doesnt induce vomiting and your puppy still seems to be in distress get him/her to the vet. hope this helps I know this post is late glad she is ok
