Shay is 4 months old, I brought him home 3 weeks today...he had some loose stools last week, not bad, but last night he seemed to be having a hard time going, very hard stools. now I did change his food, didnt mean to, but he was on Purina pro plan for puppies, I bought purina pro plan for puppies small breed....you think it could be that? he isn't complaining or showing any signs he is uncomfortable.

It could be the change of food. I would give him another day and see what happens.

Okay thanks, he is eating and drinking and running round like a wild man, so he seems fine...I may be worried for nothing, he is just so tiny, I want to act quick if it is something,ya know.. thanks for the reply.

Give him some canned pumpkin. Not pumpkin pie mix, just plain canned pumpkin about 1/4 teaspoon to start.

get the organic pumpkin from whole foods best to do organic with the little ones also make sure to walk him alot as that will get the stool moving
