| Can't give food but she's hungry They need to remove a bump from Rosie tomorrow, so they're putting her to sleep. I left food out for her all day, but she didn't eat any of it. She has the habit of eating at 10 P.M.The vet told me to not give her anything solid after 8. Now she's crying and won't stop because she's hungry. What can I do? It's breaking my heart seeing her beg for food and knowing she's hungry. |

| I'm sorry! By now, you've both probably made it through the night. But my vet has always told me not to feed anything after 10pm, and 8pm sounds really early. If she ever needs anasthesia again, maybe you could talk to your vet about her eating schedule & see if he would extend the deadline just a little. Praying everything goes well for your baby today!!

| Well, it's a little late to answer this but there is absolutely nothing you can do. Next time you can get something that entices her to eat (canned food maybe) and feed her right before the cut-off.

| Thanks for the replies. She's feeling fine, but the vet told me to feed her little by little. She's known to eat real fast and getting sick She's acting like nothing happened today and acts like her normal self. I was very surprised. |

| That's good news!! I'm so happy she's bounced right back. Thanks for the update.
