Just checking in to see how the little one is doing. |
Becky, Have you joined this group? They have so many answers and may also be able to help you with your baby girl. They are wonderful and always have had the correct answers for my little one. They have been invaluable down this liver shunt road I have been down! Good luck! Liver_Shunt_And_MVD_Support : Liver Shunt & MVD/HMD Support |
Thinking of you still Hi Becky, We're still hoping for the best for you and little Lily Kisses. I'm glad you're going to get a second opinion. I know the waiting much be very hard. She is very tiny. It is so important that she eats at that weight. I wish I had answers for you. All I can continue to do is pray for the both of you. :hands: Love, Carol |

Looking for an update How is your baby doing now, two weeks later? She is lucky to have you and your caring knowledge and love. |
I understand. Hi Becky, How is lillykisses doing today? She is very lucky to have you to love and take care of her. I know how difficult it is to have a puppy with liver shunt. Know that we are all here for you. I have found that information is my best friend in this struggle to help Pollyanna, and people who understand. I have found a lot of very helpful information on YorkieTalk.com. I am praying for sweet lillykisses. |
Hi Becky- Did you get a diagnosis on what was going on with her? I hope all is well. |
Update |
lilly kisses I'm so happy that Lilly seems to be doing better. However, if you still feel there's something wrong, go with your gut feeling. Is there a Veterinary college near you? Vet schools seem to be up on the latest diagnoses and techniques. My little baby , Tucker seemed to have a different gait, and seemed clumsy at times. Two vets thought it was sore muscles. WE were visiting in Florida, and I took him to University of Florida Vet school. He was diagnosed with Atlanto Axial Instability---a very serious neurological problem. He had surgery at University of Tennessee Vet school in May, and he doing fine. Tucker's Mom |
