I was sooo scared, called the vet, he instructed me to give her baby benadryl and keep a close eye on her.. this was last night... she's doing GREAT today and is just very scared of the back yard now... Just wanted to share my wittle story!! |

| Sophie stepped on one two weekends ago. Or at least that's what we think happened. We gave the Benedryl, she took a nice nap, and everything was fine in a few hours. Scares the heck out of you though, doesn't it?

| Lucy loves to chase the bees and wasps that are by this particular house we have to pass to get down to the "doggie grass area". I'm certain it is just a matter of time before she eats one. Glad to know what to do now! Thanks for sharing!!

| If she does decide to take a nibble please call the Vet ASAP. They can tell you the dosage she should have and it should be given even if there is no immediate reaction as this will prevent a reaction. I also think on here somewhere is the dosage. I know Sophie had 1/2 tsp. and she goes around 8 lbs. although at the time I told the vet she was 10 lbs. Also, it's Childrens Benedryl you need to give. Not the adult strenght. If it is adult strength that will change the conversion. Always call the Vet.
