|   I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my Scooter last year due to a brain tumor and he had CT so I know what a struggle it is.

|  I'm so sorry for you and little peanut. I lost my sweet Abbey 3 years ago due to a severly collapsed trachea. She had the problem for about 2 years along with some lung problems and an enlarged heart. I changed vets because when she first developed the problem my vet told me she was not longed for this world and that made me mad. The other vet put her on a medication and that helped somewhat, but no one ever told me about the surgery to put rings in that can help open the trachea. I found out about that at the emergency vet the night we lost her. She was so bad that night the emergency vet told me that she would never make it through surgery. Since being on YT I have learned that this surgery can be very risky and that longterm outcome may not be good. Please don't blame yourself as I'm sure you did everything that could be done for your little peanut.   |
