| Doing Better Well as is typical with Lexie, she had a quick turn around. We had her on pain meds for a day and then a day off. She was back to being her old self. Today I noticed she is limping on her front right so at least now I know where to focus the vet to look. Even when I examined her, she did not yep or cry...yet. So we are happy that we know the location of the pain. Now to figure out the problem. OR This could be a whole new thing, LOL. Thats my Lexie Girl. Last edited by Larryj24; 06-20-2009 at 06:07 AM. |

| The drama continues. After a day where I was unable to get the pain pills down her, (the day off the meds) she began limping. At least I know it is her front right something. She still does not whimper or pull away when I examine this area, but she is definitely favoring it. She didn't even chase my neighbors cat this morning which is also strange because the cat didn't run from her as usual either. Cat stayed there and Lexie walked up to it. Then she, Lexie, walked away. Almost like the cat knew she was not feeling good and not able to play today. Their playing usually consists of Lexie chasing her. They don't fight, they just run. Lexie likes to chase things, but not hurt them. She once chased a mouse into a corner. When the mouse stopped running, so did she. Then she started to bark at it because it would not run. She probably made it deaf from her barking so close to it I am running out now to buy a Pillgun in hopes that I will have better luck with this in getting the pills down. This is the only medicine that I have eve had trouble getting down her throat and she some how manages to find the pill and spit it out with all previously tried and true methods.
