| Tucker's Recovery from AAI Surgery Great news from this end. Tucker is doing very well. He had surgery for AAI at the University of Tennessee. They were great to work with, and I have a tremendous amount of confidence in them. We are still in Knoxville. The surgery was two and a half weeks ago. We'll be here for the long haul. He has to have a cast change every week. There's no point in going back to Alabama until that's over with. He's already a different dog. He's lifting his leg to pee for the first time ever, and this morning he lifted both back legs. I thought he was going to walk on his front feet. He's so tired of being crated. He whimpers and carries on. When I hold him, he's a wiggle worm. He's just ready to take off running. It's frustrating for both of us, but I'm so happy that he had the surgery. We're looking forward to his complete recovery, and to the time when he can be a puppy again. Thanks to all of you who prayed for him. The prayers were answered. Tucker's Moim |
