Thank you very much. I need to get another copy of his file tomorrow and then i'll contact her. Yes, I think it is going to be a very tedious process of elimination. Last edited by bentley2004; 06-12-2009 at 08:59 PM.

yes scan everything and email it to her in your introductory email so she can review and give you her thoughts - she has been studying blood for 42 years. I am finding the best neurologist around her is Wayne Berry in irvine - were you referred to him and there is another one a lady in los angeles but hearing wayne is the best so far with AAI babies

I just got back some test results: T4 - 2.0 Urinalysis - All negative, PH 7.5 Bile Acids - Less than 1.0/Post 4.9 So, the neurologist ruled out liver shunt and now wants to do an MRI. While I'm thrilled we ruled out liver shunt, I feel like we're back to square one. I told her I would have to call her back - I need this all to sink in. He was fine all weekend, a little quieter than usual. Last night he was so tired he couldn't keep his eyes open that I got worried and gave him a little Nutri-cal to perk him up. This morning he was also a little on the quieter side and trembled for just a few minutes before eating. Do I schedule the MRI? It's 45 minutes and he's under light anesthesia.... This would rule out any brain abnormality. Anyone have an MRI done?

Did Your Vet do a Pre Fast for 12 hours before this BAT test? No food or water 12 hours then they draw blood, that would be the pre test results, then they feed high protein meal, after that they draw more blood and thats the Post...Did He do this. Lots of vet do not do this procedure correct. Just making sure. Blessing to you and your baby...

Yes, thank you. We anticipated a fast, so last he ate and drank was 9pm on Thursday night. The neurologist did the test the following Friday a.m. He's been asleep pretty much all day....i feel so sad.
