| http://heartgard.us.merial.com/downl...nformation.pdf sounds like a side effect -- I think inteceptor is better for these little guys so check with vet - are you in an area with a lot of mosquitos? |

| Interceptor is JUST heartworm- not tick or flea- so less medication which, overall is the best thing. There are enough chemicals going into them- you don't need to be adding more.... in my opinion Your vet should take it back if your pup is having a reaction to it and you are not satisfied with it. |

yes interceptor does not have ivermectin in it either and heart guard does - it has something like ivermectin but not ivermectin | |

| Zeus just got sick off of a bullystick last week. He started with diarrhea and then started vomiting. Three days later he had blood in his poop. He had a bacterial infection in his intestines and I truly believe it was from a bullystick. I would still have him checked. Good luck! |

Yorkie Yakker | wow....I am thinking it was the bully stick! they have had them before...but these ones did smell bad! and they smelled smoked. bought them just single and not wrapped...so no clue where they were made. threw away this morning. kona had a good night...no BM yet this morning. i made him some boiled chicken and brown rice..he has an appetite but i only gave him a little bit until he has BM. he had the heart guard last year that is why i am aiming at blaming the bully stick...Tiki did not get sick...but he doesn't chew as long. will keep an eye on him...but he is his Krazy KoNa self right now!
